Alright, this page is gonna need explaining
Basically, Asriel from Undertale is one of my favourite characters, to an obsessive degree
As such, i decided to create a digital 'shrine' for him, he's suffered more than enough, he deserves the respect
Also, for the record, Flowey is NOT Asriel. Asriel was not in control of his actions as Flowey due to not having a soul.

Asriel was born into the Dreemurr Royal Family as the child of Toriel and Asgore, Queen and King of the Underground, giving him the title of prince.
While there isn't a lot of concrete information about Asriel's life prior to his death, the cassette tapes in the True Lab reveal he was kind-hearted but timid.
One day, a human child by the name of Chara fell into the Underground and was quickly found by Asriel. Chara was quickly adopted into the Dreemurr family, becoming Asriel's sibling.
Once again, the tapes in the True Lab reveal more details, this time portraying Chara as a bully by belittling Asriel's timidness since "Big kids don't cry", For more info, feel free to read this theory from nochocolate on tumblr (Trigger warning for discussions of emotional abuse in the theory link)
At some point, Asriel and Chara had accidently poisoned their father, Asgore by making a cake for him which contained Buttercup flowers instead of actual butter. While Asgore did recover from the incident, the new knowledge gave Chara an idea.
Ever since monsterkind was sealed underground, they wished to be freed to the surface again. Either for revenge or the simple desire for freedom. Chara's idea was to intentionally poison themself with buttercup flowers and have Asriel absorb their soul when they died, becoming a creature powerful enough to walk through the barrier and harvest the six more human souls needed to shatter it. Asriel was unaware of this plan
And so the plan began. Chara had effectively overdosed on buttercup flowers. It can be assumed that healing magic cannot treat a poisoning, leaving Chara in agony until death. On their deathbed, Chara pleaded with Asriel to absorb their soul once they died under the pretense of "wanting to see the flowers in their surface village one more time".
Asriel accepted this plea and once Chara was dead, Asriel absorbed their soul. When a monster absorbs a human soul, a creature of unmatched power is created. Due to what happens next, it can be assumed that Asriel was in control of this form with Chara as a sort of voice in his head
Fufilling Chara's last wish, Asriel crossed the barrier and carried Chara's corpse back to their human village, laying them down on a bed of golden flowers.
During this, a group of humans spotted Asriel carrying Chara's corpse and assumed he had killed them. The humans began to attack Asriel for his alleged murder. In his current form, Asriel had the power to destroy every single one of the humans attacking him, absorb their souls, and break the barrier...
But despite that, He didn't retaliate, even when Chara's voice was demanding that he crush them all, making their true plan clear.
Asriel fled from the village, heavily injured from the humans' attacks. Once he got back to the Underground, he succumbed to his wounds, collapsing on the ground of the throne room and dissolving into dust which spread onto the flowers that covered the room's dirt floor.
Asriel's death was why Asgore swore to kill every human that fell down in order to break the barrier. It's also why Toriel split from Asgore and fled to the ruins, as she disagreed with Asgore's plan.
At some point after his death, a memorial for Asriel and Chara's deaths were built in what is now the MTT hotel. Although it was later replaced by Mettaton with a statue of himself (Screw You Mettaton) and can currently be found in waterfall.
